DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — The Victory Project is preparing to open its first girls division this summer, offering a safe environment for youth to learn and grow.
“Seeing our boys interact with one another, with the mentors that come in every week, watching them worship on Wednesday nights. I cannot wait to see the girls from our community have that same experience,” said Jessica Watkins, Operations Director of Victory Project’s Girls Division.
Watkins said the opening of their first ever girls division this August in Dayton’s Twin Towers neighborhood will bring the same opportunities and mentorship for disengaged young women ages 12 to 14.
“Any young lady who’s maybe not involved in a sport or doesn’t have an after school activity that she’s participating in, she’s going to be a perfect candidate for becoming a member of Victory Project Girls,” said Watkins.
