Victory Project wins BBB award

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Better Business Bureau’s annual Golden Torch Award for Ethics honors one local organization and its integrity, transparency and impact throughout the community.

This year, for 2026, the Victory Project, a free after-school Christian-based program for eighth-grade to senior year students, is being honored. It provides mentorship and support through leadership development, tutoring, workforce readiness and life skills education in Dayton.

“This award reflects the dedication of our staff, supporters, and most importantly, our students,” said Development Director Caroline Comer. “At Victory Project, we believe trust is built through consistency, accountability and showing up for young people every single day.”
